Patrick Mahomes Launches Special Edition Shoes in Tribute to Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.cau

Kansas City, Missouri  Patrick Mahomes most recent shoe release honors the Kansas City Monarchs and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

The Mahomes 2 x NLBM Collection, created in partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, commemorates the Monarchs 1924 victory in the first Negro Leagues World Series.

I feel privileged to have the newest colorway recognize the @nlbmuseumkc and all the players who helped me and countless others get where we are today. Mahomes posted on Instagram, This collection honors the KC Monarchs and the 100th anniversary of their Negro Leagues World Series victory.

Mahomes father played in Major League Baseball for 11 seasons, and he played at Texas Tech before getting drafted into the league.

When Mahomes donned a Monarchs jersey prior to the Chiefs Monday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints last week, he actually alluded to the alliance. Throughout his career, he has also worn Monarchs apparel a lot.
