David Hasselhoffs ex-wife, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, has died by suicide  TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us  family members had not heard from her and wanted to check on her out of concern, so they went to her house, which was locked  where they discovered her.

Paramedics were called to Pamelas house on a report of an unconscious female shortly after 10 PM Wednesday. Pamela was pronounced dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. There was no note, were told.

LAPD officers responded shortly afterward.

David tells TMZ  Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.

David and Pamela were married from 1989 to 2006. The divorce was contentious  with disputes about monthly spousal support extending into 2017.

Pamela first appeared on the big screen in Francis Ford Coppolas Rumble Fish in 1983, starring Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke and Diane Lane. Film led to TV roles, including Baywatch in 1989  she played café owner Kaye Morgan for 10 years on the series.

Other TV roles included Sirens, The Young and the Restless, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, and Knight Rider, where she met David.

Pamelas rep, Sharon Kelly, tells TMZ  I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a Force of Nature  She will be missed.

My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a Proud Mama!

Pamela is survived by her and Davids two daughters, and a granddaughter.

Pamela was 62.

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, an actress who was formerly married to David Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006, has died. She was 62.

She was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, March 5. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, the cause of death was ruled a suicide from a gunshot wound to the head.

Her family reportedly had not heard from her and went to check on her, per TMZ, which was first to report the news.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, a rep for David said: Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.

Pamela shares daughters Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32, with her ex-husband, and her Instagram was filled with loving posts of her daughters and her grandchild. Taylor had welcomed a daughter, London, in August with her husband Madison Fiore, who she married in February 2023.

Pamelas most recent Instagram post, shared on New Years Eve, featured a photo of her posing in front of an elaborate Christmas tree as well as a video of her adorable granddaughter.

She wrote in the posts caption, As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London. Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing.

She continued, Heres to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!

Pamela and David, 72, met on the set of Knight Rider when Pamela was a guest star. She then went on to appear in several episodes of Baywatch with him, too.

Neither of her daughters has spoken on the news of her death but Hayley did repost a photo of her parents from 1996, when they attended the grand opening of the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios Hollywood, on her Instagram Stories with the white heart emoji,  .
